Step 1 Obtain a laundry bag from the hotel, which is usually already in your hotel room; however, if your room doesn't have one, simply ask the front desk or a hotel staff for a bag. Step 2 View the price list for laundry and dry cleaning services to avoid any nasty shocks when your clothes are returned. Step 3 Fill out the attached card indicating which items of clothing are in the bag and whether you would like each item washed, dried and folded, dry cleaned or ironed.
Step 4 Leave the bag of laundry in your room for the maid to pick up or in the hallway, as per the instructions attached to your laundry bag. Step 5 Take note of the laundry service turnaround times and inquire about delivery if your clothes are not back reasonably close to the time when you need them. Step 6 Pay for any laundry services received.
This will give an idea of how much you will be spending on their laundry service. Put all your dirty clothes in the laundry bag provided by the hotel in your room. If there is none, you may call through the telephone or visit the front desk for one.
Choose the type of laundry service you wish and fill out the form you will be giving you. Leave your dirty clothes inside the room and wait for it to be picked up by the room service attendant. Wait for your clothes to be returned. Pay after receiving your clothes.
Usually, it will be added to your bill as you check out. But with some hotels which are tied up with their laundry contractor, you need to pay the bill once you have received your clothes.
Laundry Operation How does hotel laundry service work? The dirty clothes and linens are collected on every hotel floor. They will send all the dirty clothes and linens in the laundry site. They will sort the clothes based on their fabric type, color, and stain if there is. The staff will load the dirty clothes and linens in the washer.
